SCOPE OF WORK
Event coordination/promotion, campus outreach, podcasting and audio editing.
BECOMING A DJ
You must be an Oakland resident or a Peralta College student to qualify. Peralta Students must sign up for one of the courses listed above upon approval.
In order to apply: send a one-paragraph show description which includes a show name and/or dj name. Also include your cell phone number, availability and info regarding how you heard of the station. Send the info through our ‘contact’ page.
We are looking for people with original ideas. Having a focused show proposal is key. We commonly get people saying they would like to play ‘all types of music’ or ‘talk about all sorts of things’. This in NOT what we are looking for. Vague statements like this do not give us any idea regarding who you are and what type of show you want to host. Please, be specific.
Please read our 'about' page to ensure you understand our goals for 2010.
